 Russian cargo ship docks with ISS

Moscow - A Russian cargo ship, launched Thursday from the Baikonur space station in Kazakhstan, docked successfully Sunday with the International Space Station, Russia's space command centre said.

The docking was completed in automatic mode at 0141 GMT, a Russian space command centre official told Russian news agencies.

The Progress M-03M cargo ship is carrying more 2.5 tonnes of freight: fuel, scientific equipment, water, medicine, and clothing for the crew of the space station. - AFP
