The search for two suspects in a spectacular heist at a poker tournament in Berlin took on an international dimension on Thursday, as police revealed they could have fled abroad.
The men, aged 19 and 20, have been on the run since an accomplice turned himself in earlier in the week and revealed their names to the police. A fourth suspect, aged 20, was seized on Wednesday in Berlin.
The four men, of Turkish and Arabic origins, had allegedly made off with around 242 000 euros (about R2.4-million) after raiding a Berlin luxury hotel where one of Europe's biggest poker tournaments was taking place on March 6.
