Load shedding may occur throughout the country on Tuesday evening due to a shortage of capacity, Eskom said.

System operations and planning manager Erica Johnson said consumers were at risk of experiencing load shedding between 6 and 9pm on Tuesday.

"We appeal to consumers to use electricity efficiently in order to minimise the risk," she said. - Sapa
