South Africa's longest-standing First Lady, Evita Bezuidenhout, has welcomed Jacob Zuma into the ANC's highest office by comparing him to the Governator of California.
"You are truly our own Arnold Schwarzenegger," she said from Darling this morning. "Your slogan should be 'I'll be back' because against all odds you bounce back time after time.
"And now your Zunami has flooded us all. And we're not even in the shower.
"I hope you like bobotie. And may I still call you by your Zulu name 'Innocent'?"
'Your slogan should be 'I'll be back'' Asked what Zuma's immediate priorities should be when he sits down at his big new desk high in Luthuli House, she said: "First, stay at home as president.

Also remember that too many Shaiks spoil the broth. You are there to serve the people, to help all South Africans first and then to help yourself afterwards.
"And please invade Zimbabwe so that all these millions of Zimbabweans can go home!"
Did she have a farewell message for the pipe-smoking philosopher king, Thabo Mbeki?
"Thanks for making us all so rich. I hope you now become the SA Ambassador to the UN, liewe Thabo. You even look like Kofi Annan. We can then call you Cappuccino Mbeki!"
'And may I still call you by your Zulu name 'Innocent'?' Despite Zuma's victory last night, and thus the likelihood that he would become SA president in 2009, she refused to throw in the towel and abandon her own ambitions.
"I will still campaign for the presidency of South Africa in 2009, because with Jacob Zuma either in the driving seat or in jail for corruption, there needs to be an alternative.
My mantra will always be: the people must lead and the government can follow!" she cried.
