Western Cape coastal routes including the spectacular Chapmans Peak Drive have topped a poll on which South African tourist attractions should get first visit from Google's Street View trikes.
Google said on Tuesday that the vote had been conducted online and by cellphone.
Second most popular was the Kruger National Park, and third was the Blyde River Canyon.
Google said photography would begin in the next few weeks, and the images would be ready in time for the World Cup.
The trikes' photographs are used in conjunction with Google maps to allow internet users to see detailed images of places. - Sapa
