Two armed men robbed and repeatedly raped a 60-year-old woman in Gezina, Pretoria police said on Friday.
The two, in their twenties, held the woman at gunpoint as she returned home to her rented room on a church property around 9pm on Thursday, said Captain Solly Marindi.
They blindfolded her, tied her hands and raped her when she said she had no money to give them.
They ransacked her home, taking a DVD player and R500 in cash, allegedly saying "thank you for assisting us", before fleeing on foot. - Sapa
