 Teen held for killing grandfather

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly stabbing his grandfather to death in Pretoria, police said on Tuesday.

"The were in a room in the house when they had an argument. It is alleged that the boy left the room and went to the kitchen to fetch a knife," Inspector Louis de Beer said.

After allegedly stabbing him on Monday around 3pm, he ran away. Police arrested him a few blocks from the house.

He would appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Wednesday to face a murder charge. - Sapa
