 Racial slur case adjourned

The Equality Court case of Sydenham police station commissioner Glen Nayager, who is accused of calling two men "k******" in October 2007 was adjourned on Monday morning for judgement.

Although closing arguments and judgement was expected to be given today, Magistrate John Sanders said he had not yet been able to apply his mind to the judgement because he had four other cases ahead of this one.

He said however that the heads of argument were in the possession of the court and that he should be able to start working on this case and the others before it from December 15.
