 Huguenot tunnel closed

The Huguenot tunnel on the N1 near Paarl in the Boland has been closed due to mudslides, the SABC reported.

An official in the control room, Sunil Moonsami, said the route would be re-opened once inspections by engineers had been completed.

Motorists were urged to use the Du Toits Kloof pass as an alternative route. - Sapa
