An 11th person from the eight people, who were injured in a taxi accident in the Eastern Cape on Saturday, has died, police said.
Superintendent Mzukisi Fatyela said a woman, who was among the injured after a minibus taxi went off a cliff at the Tutor Ndamase Pass between Libode and Port St. Johns, died in hospital.
He said three last bodies, which made up the 11 people killed had since also been retrieved by helicopter.
"According to eye witnesses, the taxi hit a car from behind, overturned and veered off the road," said Eastern Cape health spokesman, Sizwe Kupelo.
"I have never seen anything like this in my life, there are bodies scattered everywhere," Kupelo had said shortly after the accident.

"Members of the community rushed to help those who survived. They are traumatised because this is the second accident here in a week," he said
Spokesman for the Eastern Cape department of Transport, Ncedo Kumbaca said an investigation would be conducted to determine the cause of the accident.
He said a decision would then be made on whether or not to charge the driver of the taxi, who was amongst the injured. - Sapa
