 Two killed as helicopter crashes into lake

Verona, Italy - A helicopter crashed on Monday along Lake Garda in north-eastern Italy, killing the two people on board, news reports said.

The helicopter crashed near the lake's shoreline in the area of Torri del Benaco, about 40 kilometres from the city of Verona, the ANSA news agency said.

The victims, two men aged 41 and 46, were found still strapped to the seats of the small aircraft, ANSA said.

The caused of the accident was not immediately clear. - Sapa-dpa
