Article Search

In a world groaning under the burden of information overload, RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) is a simple way to filter and customise content that interests only you, without having to always go back and visit sites.

IOL's RSS feed is free content from your favourite IOL websites to your desktop. Our feed contains headlines, a summary or teaser paragraph, and a link to the article on the website.

So, instead of visiting a particular website to browse for new articles and features, you can check the RSS feed to see whether something new has been posted online.

  • How do I get RSS feeds?
Well, first you need an RSS Reader (click here for suggestions). Once you have downloaded and installed your preferred Reader, copy and paste the URL link from the URL bar of your browser (typically something like http://feeds.iol.co.za/rss/feed_news.rss), to the Add Feeds section of your favourite RSS Reader.
