Maybe he is the seventh son of a seventh son, was born under a lucky star, has a warehouse full of lucky horseshoes or just owns the strongest muti known to man.

Whatever it is, a 34-year-old Limpopo man has beaten galactic odds to win the lottery jackpot twice.

The man, who wants to remain anonymous, came forward this week to claim PowerBall's inaugural jackpot prize of R30-million. This after winning R11m on the Lotto seven years ago.

'He gave the impression of a man who has money'
What amazed Thembi Tulwana, lottery operator Gidani's spokesperson, was how unfazed he appeared. "We offered to pick him up, but he decided to drive to our headquarters in Midrand.

"He gave the impression of a man who has money," Tulwana said.

He plans to invest 90 percent of his recent winnings towards his four children's future.

"I want to venture into property development and help address the plight of the homeless people around us," the man is reported to have said.

He apparently runs a successful business.

The odds of winning the R30m were one in 24-million, while Gidani has not crunched the numbers on the odds of winning the lottery twice.

"He is just very lucky," said Tulwana.

She said the most times anyone had won the lottery was three - a man from Idaho in the US.

The Limpopo double winner has not revealed the secret to his luck. What is known is that he spends only R100 on the lottery every month.

I am surprised to note that the Star & so many other members of the public are so gullible. The winner of the two jackpots is Non Existant and we are convinced that the R41,000,000's are back in the pockets of GIDANI.
Just scan the results of other lotteries around the world and you will realise that these immediate winners only happen here.Overseas it takes months to find a winner.
