Cadre's of the African National Congress who gets removed from positions they were deployed to by the party must not hide behind legalities when they are removed, ANC President Jacob Zuma said.
"People hid behind legalities, if they are still cadres of the movement, once we tell you to move there would be a letter that you have resigned," Zuma told an ANC rally at the Clive Solomon stadium in Bloemfontein.
The president was in the Free State as part of the ANC's Siyabonga campaign to say thank you to voters after the party's election victory.
Zuma said those deployed by ANC did not apply for the jobs and must know that the same party would remove them.

"We appointed them, we must then disappoint them," he said to loud cheers.
Zuma also urged party servants deployed in all government levels to solve service delivery problems before people start protesting.
"We (ANC elected leaders) all say that this time around we are going to do things differently."
The ANC leader said the party wants to bring a new culture in government.
This includes a culture of delivery and a culture of people with hearts to serve other people.
Zuma urged citizens to "Call the President" when the direct phone line to the Presidency would be up and running next month.
The party president earlier in the day also met with various groups at the Bloemfontein City Hall as part of the Siyabonga campaign. - Sapa
