Johannesburg - A South African pilot and a passenger were killed on Sunday when a light aircraft crashed after take off in Namibia, officials said.
"The South African plane with three Namibian passengers on board crashed in Windhoek soon after take-off on Sunday morning," said department of International Relations and Co-operation spokesperson Sol Molobi.
"The pilot and a passenger died. Two other passengers are in hospital in a critical condition."
Molobi said the South African embassy in Namibia is providing consular services to the families. - Sapa
