Algeria - Six members of the same family, aged 18 to 84, were killed by a gas leak in Algeria, rescue services said on Sunday.
The accident happened on Saturday in Sigus, a town near Oum el-Bouaghi around 500km east of Algiers, the APS news agency quoted emergency services as saying, without providing further details.
Faulty or badly installed gas heaters can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning during the cold winter months in Algeria.
