Mombasa - Police were investigating a German national who frequently visited Kenya after he was arrested for photographing children's genitals and found to be in possession of a pornographic video featuring minors, officials said on Monday.
The man, 68, from Cologne, was arrested in the port city of Mombasa last Tuesday after concerned parents told police he was taking pictures of children swimming at a local recreation facility.
In the course of his arrest, authorities discovered and seized a locally made pornographic movie featuring him and adult women, as well as scenes involving children, photos of naked women and Viagra tablets, they said.

Authorities were investigating whether he had links to the international trade in child pornography. A Mombasa police official described the video as "dirty and morally corrupt", and said that a Kenyan woman who appeared in the movie had also been arrested.
Patrick Obimo, a senior officer in the Coast Provincial Criminal Investigations Department, said that the man would be charged on Tuesday with possession of indecent material pending a child porn investigation.
The retired electronics engineer, has been a frequent visitor to Kenya and last arrived in the country on April 5.
Authorities believe he may be part of an international syndicate that has been operating on the Kenyan coast, paying poor women to make blue movies that are later posted on the internet.
Social workers have complained that a trade in sex tourism is growing in Mombasa and nearby Indian Ocean resorts. - Sapa-AFP
