Karachi - Pakistan will host Asian champions Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe for a tri-series scheduled for September and October, officials have stated.
Pakistan will play Zimbabwe in the series opener in Multan on September 30 while the final is scheduled for Lahore on October 16.
Pakistan is also seeking to play two Test home series against Sri Lanka after the limited overs internationals.
"We have finalised the tri-series programme but for the two Tests against Sri Lanka after the tri-series we wait for a reply from Sri Lanka Cricket," Pakistan Cricket Board spokesman Abbas Zaidi said.
The Pakistan Cricket Board had suggested the two-match Test series, originally scheduled for February-March, be played at the same time as the one-day matches to accommodate Pakistan's tour of India early next year.

"Since Sri Lanka is scheduled to tour Bangladesh late October this year we have also requested the Bangladesh Cricket Board to reschedule their series against Sri Lanka early next year," Zaidi said.
Zimbabwe was originally scheduled to play a Test series in Pakistan but the series was scrapped after the International Cricket Council suspended Zimbabwe's Test status until January 2005 because of a row with leading white players.
The row erupted in April this year after 15 players led by captain Heath Streak fell out with the Zimbabwe Cricket Union over selection matters which the dissenting players claimed was racially biased.
The dispute is still unresolved despite efforts by the international cricket body and others.
Zimbabwe will arrive in Lahore on September 17 and play a two-day practice match at Sheikhupura, followed by a four-day match in Lahore from September 23. The Sri Lanka team arrive on October 4.
