Sydney - World Boxing Association (WBA) super-middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler says the back problem that forced him to postpone his title fight against Anthony Mundine for a month won't bother him when the pair step into the ring on Wednesday.
"My back is 100 percent and I'm more than ready for this fight," the Danish boxer said on Tuesday, on the eve of the Sydney Entertainment Centre showdown. "My preparation has been perfect. Everything has worked out the way I want it to."
Kessler hasn't been knocked down in 35 pro fights, but hasn't fought outside Denmark for five years. Despite that, he says he's raring to go.

"I'm 100 percent ready. I will not think about my back at all," he said.
I will not think about my back at all Mundine said the delay had helped his taper.
"I'm very confident. All the hard work has been done and I've been feeling pretty cruisey," the Australian former world champion said.
Kessler won the WBA title in November by stopping Puerto Rican Manny Siaca in the eighth round in Copenhagen, six months after Siaca defeated former champion Mundine in a split decision in Sydney.
