The 2010 World Cup is around the corner, not to mention the Confederations Cup next year and Bafana Bafana need a quick fix to be in form.
Kushatha Ndibi and Seanokeng Molosankwe spoke to fans and experts about what can be done The 2010 World Cup is around the corner, not to mention the Confederations Cup next year and Bafana Bafana need a quick fix to be in form.
Steve Mabua: The South African Football Association must start supporting Joel Santana. The public should do the same too. Let's play as many friendlies as possible. I must say, I am impressed with how we have been performing lately especially in our past three games. But let us play against stronger countries, not minnows like Malawi.

Kenneth Mokone: The chopping and changing of the squad is killing us. Santana should know the working combination by now. Former players should also be roped in to help. Friendly games will help us a great deal regardless of whether we play against small football nations.
Bhekumuzi Nkalanga: Players should start behaving like us normal employees. They should go to work from 9am to 5pm. The media must stop getting too excited. Look at Bernard Parker, he scored a few goals in one game and already they were hailing him as the next best thing. This destroys players.
Nico Mthombeni: Fire Joel Santana. Bring in Doctor Kumalo, Phil Masinga and Jomo Sono to manage things. We must stop playing against the likes of Malawi. Bring on the big guns like Cameroon and Ivory Coast. Let's be consistent with the squad and stop changing it. When a player does well, stick with him.
Zelda Khumoeng: Let's put more time into our national team. PSL games must stop for a bit so that Bafana can take centre stage. Maybe halt the fixtures for a week or so. Local coaches should be called upon to assist Santana.
