An unchanged Netball South Africa (NSA) Executive Committee (Exco) will serve for the next two years, after all members were re-elected to their positions at the national council meeting in Pretoria at the weekend.
The national council comprises representatives of the 37 NSA regions.
The most significant battles were for the positions of president, vice-president and director of selections.
NSA president Mimi Mthethwa, had a comfortable 43-26 vote victory over fellow exco member and director of selections, Mpumi Javu, while vice president Blanche de la Guerre had a landslide 58-8 victory over challenger Di Woolley, the president of schools netball.
The closest battle was for position of director of selection. Javu had three challengers - former national coach Marlene Wagner, as well as Sandra Khati and Anneline Lewis, but the real fight was between Javu and Wagner, with Javu scraping home by a single vote, and winning by 24 votes to 23.
