U KUNGCWABA abantu ethuneni elilodwa kuwukwethuka isiko futhi kungenza umonakalo omkhulu.
Lokhu ngukuphawula kwesazi samasiko esingumengameli weTraditional Healers Association KwaZulu-Natal, uMnuz Sazi Mhlongo, osishayele ihlombe isiphakamiso seKhomishini eVikela iNkolo, Izilimi noMphakathi, sokuthi uMasipala weTheku uyeke ukusebenzisa amathuna amadala ukungcwaba imindeni eyahlukene.

UMhlongo uthe uyavumelana nekhomishini ngoba bayazi kudala umonakalo ongakanani ukukhuluma nomoya womuntu okungeyena.
“Ngisho ingane ayingcwatshwa nomunye umuntu, umzimba kumele ube nethuna lawo. Ngeke ngivume ethuneni likababa kungcwatshwe olunye uhalakasha lwendoda engingayazi. Lokhu kungaphambanisa nemisamo, enye indoda igcine ithathe izinhlanhla okungezona ezayo,” kusho yena.

“Siyawahlonipha amasiko nenkolo yabantu yingakho sixhumana nomndeni uma ithuna lawo selineminyaka elishumi. Uma ungafuni kungcwatshwe phezu kwalo, umndeni ukhokhe enye imali yokuvuselela ubunikazi bethuna. Ethuneni elidala siyamba ekujuleni ukuqinisekisa ukuthi akusekho zinsalela zesidumbu, amathambo siwamboze ngenhlabathi ngaphansi ngaphambi kokungcwaba omunye,” kusho uNxumalo.
Ikhomishini ithe kwakona ukuthi abantu bavuselele ubunikazi bethuna kuwukungawahloniphi amalungelo ngoba abahlwempu abanako ukwenza ngokunye, kumele bavume kungcwatshwe phezu kwethuna labo.
Kwasuka umsindo ngo-2000 umasipala umemezela ukuthi ziyaphela izindawo, wakhuthaza nokuthi abantu bashiswe.
