For a sexy pick-me-up drink, put on your heels and head to Café Chic for a Sex in the Chic.
Bartender Victoria Brandon-Kirby pours all the alcoholic ingredients, cranberry juice and ice into a shaker. After shaking, she strains the contents into a glass in stages while adding pieces of berry to the drink.
It is very juicy and is a deep red colour. It has fruity flavours and is not overpowering – a good one for light drinkers.
Brandon-Kirby says it’s a summer drink that can be enjoyed all year round.
While at Café Chic, take time out to chill in the Moroccan tent at the back. There is also a clothing boutique.
The bar is perfect for a post-work drink. Smoking is allowed at the cocktail bar and outside. It is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 3pm to 2am.
On Tuesdays, cocktails are half price between 4.30 and 6.30pm. – Weekend Argus
