THE Beverly Hills Hotel in Umhlanga, Durban, brings its half century tea time tradition back to the table with the launch of its Signature Afternoon Tea Buffet.
At the weekend press launch it was announced that patrons will be able to indulge in a Royal-style tea every Friday and Saturday afternoon from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the hotel's Sugar Club venue.
Served against the backdrop of panoramic sea views and a relaxed atmosphere; gourmet sandwiches, warm scones and chic pastries are among an array of mouth watering offerings on the menu - including a freshly baked cake of the day (think black forest gateaux, traditional sache torte or baked cheesecake).
A wide selection of specialty teas by German tea brand, Ronnefeldt, is served in William Kilburn crockery from Maxwell William. Enjoy your traditional teas like English Breakfast and Earl Grey to the more adventurous taste bud tantalizers like Sweet Berries, Rooibos Cream Orange, Fruity Camomile and more.
And for the very adventurous, you can also indulge in a bottle of chilled bubbly - available by the glass or bottle.
