Durban – So imagine this, its Valentines Day, your boyfriend goes down on one knee, pulls out what looks like a ring box, you’re hyperventilating, about to cry because right there in that moment he is about to ask for your hand in marriage.
So he takes your hand, whispers sweet nothings and before you know it, your dream of walking down the aisle is shattered by a request for a cup of tea.
This could go down as the cruellest prank ever played on the day of love or it could go down as the funniest.
In a one minute and forty-five second long video uploaded to Youtube, a man pulls out what looks like a small white engagement ring box. He later hides it in his pocket.
The man later asks his unsuspecting girlfriend to stand in front of him. Then the unexpected happens.
He goes down onto his left knee and pulls out the white box.
undefinedThe girlfriend, who is in shock reacts by saying, “Oh my God, what are you doing?”
The boyfriend replies, “Just bear with me…you know you make me happiest man in the world. I’m nervous, I’m shaking, I love you to bits. I have one question to ask you.”
He then drops the question, but it was not what the love of his life was expecting.
“Will you make me a cup of tea?”
The girlfriend replies saying “What is that? Are you f*cking kidding?”
She then grabs the box and storms off saying “You horrible man, who does that?”
