London - Letting someone know you’re attracted to them can sometimes be tricky — especially if your knowing glance goes unnoticed.

But that could be a thing of the past thanks to a Japanese inventor who has created a prototype giant furry tail for humans, which wags when its wearer’s heart quickens.

‘Tailly’ is attached to a belt with sensors that monitor its wearer’s pulse; as their heart rate increases, the tail wags faster.

Shota Ishiwatari thinks wearing Tailly at parties or while out with friends will leave its owner radiating cuteness and happiness.

“You could wear Tailly on a date and express your true feelings through the wagging tail,” he adds. “Even better, your partner could also wear one, to add a level of subconscious communication between the two of you.”

Ishiwatari has set up Twitter and Facebook pages to find £60,000 of funding; if successful a £60 (about R800) pledge will secure you a basic white tailly. - Daily Mail
