London - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly set to adopt a seventh child – this time from Syria.

The stars are said to be in the process of adopting an orphaned boy, whose mother was killed in a bomb blast and whose father was taken away by Syrian soldiers.

Miss Jolie was moved by the plight of three brothers she met when she visited the country as a UN Special Envoy, a source told website RadarOnline.

The actress, 40, is said to have wanted to adopt all of the siblings but changed her mind after discussing it with Pitt, 51.

The couple already have Maddox, 14, adopted from Cambodia, Vietnamese-born Pax, 11, ten-year-old Ethiopian Zahara, plus biological children Shiloh, nine, and seven-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
