Despite being able to slip easily into the Art & Style or Hollywood &
Entertainment sections, it was her mantle as Founder of Kylie Cosmetics that
secured her a spot on to 2017 line-up.

The annual list consists of 600 entries, of 30 under 30-year-olds divided into
20 categories.
They
include: Art & Style, Consumer Tech, Education, Energy, Enterprise Tech,
Finance, Food & Drink, Games, Healthcare, Hollywood & Entertainment,
Law & Policy, Manufacturing & Industry, Marketing & Advertising,
Media, Music, Retail & E-commerce, Science, Social Entrepreneurs, Sports and Venture Capital.
The
magazine insists 'our "no repeats" policy insures surfacing new
talent every year'.
Other
famous faces making the list in various categories include Elle Fanning,
Hilary Duff, Margot Robbie, Evan Rachel Wood, Olympic gymnast Simone
Biles, YouTube star Tyler Oakley, and soon-to-be young Han Solo: Alden
Ehrenreich.

While Kylie was by far the youngest Retail and Ecommerce entrepreneur, there were plenty younger elsewhere on the list, including 16-year-old Team USA snowboarder Chloe Kim, and 15-year-old inventor Gabriel Mesa, who created the motion-powered Carbon Battery as well as the piezo-powered diabetic neuropathy treatment Stimuped
At 14, Ohio
high school student Maanasa Mendu who invented a piezoelectric
"leaf" device that harvests energy from sun, wind and rain was the
youngest on the list overall.

With 80
A-list judges in each category, only 600 of 15,000+ applicants make the list,
making it statistically harder to get into than both Stanford and Harvard
Universities.
