Big hair is back for women, so are bobs, but out go men's full beards.
Big hair and a move away from completely unnatural dyes are big trends dominating hair styling for women right now, particularly in Germany, hairdressers opined at a recent industry meet.
Long locks with lots of volume, as well as lighter tips, are two of the trends that customers are demanding in big numbers to look "in."
Curly hair has also become fashionable again, for both women and men.

According to hairdresser Dieter Schoellhorn, the underlying trend driving all of this is naturalness, even for dyed hair.
"Highlights in a shade that matches your hair colour always look good," Schoellhorn said.
He and others say it's not yet time to count out short haircuts, such the bob and the bowl cut, which flatter many women, but they should not be shaped too thin. "Volume is also important here," he said.
For men, Schoellhorn mostly snips the classical short haircut these days as well as wilder hairstyles.
It's also important to customers that the cuts are flexible for both women and men.
"Nowadays a haircut has to be suitable for many different occasions."
At the recent German Hairdressing Championships, Schoellhorn revealed what had fallen out of fashion: unkempt hair and garish colours.
"You can see immediately that something is not right. The dye should be as close to a natural hue as possible."
Full beards, which have been a hipster fixture around the globe for a couple of seasons, are also slowly falling out of fashion again.

"Younger customers are asking for more unconventional options, such as moustaches," explains barber Florian Auzinger.
