Take your glam factor to the next level!

In between a busy work and home life, staying up to date with the latest hair, make-up and fashion trends can seem an impossible task.

Now is your chance to fast-track your look to red-hot glam with Society's Atelier’s workshop, being held on Saturday, 29 October. Aimed at all women – particularly busy businesswomen and moms-on-the-go – this event will provide the perfect “cheat sheet” for fashionistas to copy and keep their styling game strong.

Held at the trendy Silo Auditorium at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, this exclusive event will feature a panel of influential styling experts who have worked with top names in the entertainment industry. They will teach guests quick and easy self-grooming, make-up and hairstyling tips as well as the do’s and don’ts on everything beauty and fashion.

 Make-up professional Clara Chimeloane, who worked her magic on celebrities such as Bonang Matheba, Nomzamo Mbatha and Pearl Modiadi, will be sharing her cosmetic know-how.

Internationally recognised hair and make-up artist Mary Gouveia’s work has been featured in a variety of glossy titles, such as Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. Her experience includes working on various TV commercials and films as well as working with international celebrities like Collin Farrell, Bar Rafelli and Shayne Ward.

 

Edgars Club magazine beauty editor Lameez Hendricks, whose past experience on the beauty front include her role as beauty editor at O Magazine and rubbing shoulders with influential designers such as Carolina Herrera, Stefano Gabbana and Marc Jacobs, will be sharing her tricks of the trade too.

TIME

There will be a morning session from 09:00 to 13:00 for early birds, and an afternoon slot from 14:00 to 18:00. Morning guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast selection, and afternoon attendees can look forward to wine paired with savoury bites.

 

Seats for the Society's Atelier Workshop are limited, so book early on Webtickets to ensure you get expert advice on taking your everyday style to a trendy and glam level. Tickets are R600 per person which includes a goodie bag. Society's Atelier will donate a portion of ticket sales to NGO Heaven's Shelter House in Mitchell's Plain, an organisation that takes care of abused and abandoned children and women.
