London - Her looks helped make her one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses.
Now it seems a lot of that money is being spent on maintaining them.
Jennifer Aniston splashes out an average of £12 000 (R211 000) a month perfecting her look – including £3 000 on skincare alone, beauty experts have calculated.
Her beauty regime includes using a £200 Euoko neck cream, which is apparently made out of crystals from Mars.
The 44-year-old Friends star has previously confessed to being a fan of chemical peels and laser treatments, which cost on average about £1 200 a time and she is said to have them on a quarterly basis.
She also attends the Mila Moursi Skincare Institute in Los Angeles, where she undergoes a series of anti-ageing treatments, including stress therapy massages and full-body skincare sessions.
These range from aromatherapy for as little as £150 to a custom package of rejuvenation treatments that cost £1 200 a session.
Before glossy events and award shows Aniston has been spotted visiting the Tracie Martyn Spa for the “red carpet facial” – which costs £280 a time, and uses a mild electric current and LED light to “improve elasticity” in the skin.
A source close to the star said: “She takes looking and feeling her best very seriously.
“Make no mistake, it takes a lot of money and effort to look as good as she does at 44.”
The £12 000-a-month figure includes £50 on having her eyebrows shaped, £565 on a haircut and £125 on spray tans.
But it’s not all pricey treatments.
Aniston washes her face with a Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar, which costs about £3.
As for maintaining her figure, Aniston – who made about £12 million last year – has two chefs who prepare calorie-controlled food for her and fiancé Justin Theroux, at a cost of about £615 a week.
She has previously admitted she is a yoga devotee and uses personal trainer Mandy Ingber, who would not disclose her fees, thought to be £2 400 a month. – Daily Mail
