Male grooming booms

The male grooming industry has shown significant growth over the last few years and the global market is predicted to reach R582.21 billion by the year 2020. This is largely because of changing perceptions of masculine beauty.

According to a new report by Global Industry Analysts, men across the world are becoming increasingly image-conscious and therefore pay more attention to their looks. The association between good grooming and personal confidence has also been recognised with young males willing to spend more money and time on elaborate grooming routines.

Male grooming products are therefore expanding from traditional shaving products, deodorants and basic bath and hair products to more sophisticated cosmetics such as concealers and sunscreens with more frequent purchases of moisturisers, antiageing creams and more.

Celltone recognises this growing segment and whilst none of its products are specific to males, all Celltone products are suitable and beneficial for male skin. In fact, Celltone is the official skin and suncare supplier to the Protea Cricket Team and as such, the players have access to all Celltone Face Care and Sun Care products as well as Celltone Gel and Celltone Tissue Oil.

Both the Celltone Gel and Celltone Tissue Oil are particularly suited for use by sportsmen and those who spend a lot of time in the sun as they effectively nourish and rehydrate skin after sun exposure.
