Starry-eyed
Simply placing a few star stickers around your eyes is a fun way to add a twinkle to your look. You could keep it simple with one or two tiny stars on the outer corners of your eyes, or do something more elaborate by using different size star stickers to create a bolder design.
Metallic liner
Why not go all the way with your metallic look by adding gleam to your eyes. Draw a bold line on your top or bottom lid for an edgy take on the black liquid liner. You don’t have to stick to gold or silver either. Be daring and try cobalt blue.
Glitter lips
Glitter encrusted lips made quite an impact on the runways this year and is set to be major trend in 2017. And what better time to give this look a try. Add a bit of glitter over your favourite lip colour or on bare glossy lips. With a sparkling pout your NYE selfie game is going to be on point.
Bold lip
A bright red lip is always a safe bet, but this is not the time to be playing it safe. It’s summer, so grab a bold pink, orange or even purple for something a little different.
Dramatic eyeliner
It’s taken you all year to learn how to perfectly apply your liquid liner in one smooth stroke, so you might as well go extra and create a more dramatic line. Draw the line out a bit further. Thicken the line on your lid. Bigger. Bolder! That’s what it’s all about.
The wet-look hair
This is a perfect for a NYE party at the club and you certainly wouldn’t have to worry about frizz. Kim Kardashian had us loving this look again when she heated up the VMA 2016 red carpet looking like she just stepped of the beach. Remember this is a “wet-look” not actual wet hair. So don’t go out with dripping wet hair!
