What a difference a brow makes

London - Eyebrows were raised recently in astonishment at the transformation of Taylor Swift’s… er… eyebrows.

For the cover of Wonderland magazine, the pop star was given a set of brows large enough to rival those of model Cara Delevingne.

The chunky caterpillars completely revamped Taylor’s face, turning her from pretty princess into edgy model.

Taylor isn’t the only star dipping her toe in the bushy brow pool though.

The Duchess of Cambridge, actress Megan Fox, model Kate Moss and singer Gwen Stefani have added considerable size to theirs since the days of skinny eyebrows in the late nineties and early naughties.

The celebrity trend has led to the growth of professional brow-grooming services at an astonishing rate over the past decade.

Women are now paying a small fortune to return their eyebrows to their original state – using eyebrow growth boosters, permanent make-up and even eyebrow extensions.

A larger brow makes a look more polished and glamorous, whereas a skinny brow has an ageing effect on the features. – Daily Mail
