CRANK up the drama and turn up the bling. It’s your night to shine as bright as you want. Give the plain little black dress (LBD) a break for the night and go for something shiny and sequinned.

Starry Night

A star-printed item easily adds an element of fun to any look. A sexy little mini dress covered in tiny stars. Or even one big sequinned star will do. Pair a star-printed top with a patent leather pants for a rock star chic look.

Lace

Anything lacy is always a winner for a night out. Add some edge to your look by pairing a lace top with a leather mini or dressy slacks. Lace and anything metallic makes for a winning combo as well. Don’t forget to add a sexy and dark shade of underwear underneath.

The slip dress

Not only is the slip dress bang on trend right now, but it’s an effortless option as well. Go for a dress in a jewel stones like emerald green or ruby red if you really want to get into the NYE party spirit. When stepping out in a slinky silver slip dress, you won’t need much else to complete the look. Strappy heels and bedroom hair is all you need.

Gold

If there’s one night to live your life like it’s golden, it would be that night. After all it’s not often one gets a chance to be draped in gold. Whether you want to go for gold head to toe or simply add an accent of gold, you wouldn’t be making a wrong move.

One shoulder

Yes this year the off-the-shoulder trend was a big one, but just for the night let’s take a mini break from it. In 2017 we will be seeing the return of the 80's one-shoulder style. For an edgy disco feel, wear a bling top with fitted denim or metallic skirt.

Metallics

This might sound like an obvious way to go, but metallics doesn’t always mean silver and gold. I love the metallic pink skirt that model, Kendall Jenner, wore during this year’s Paris Fashion week. Look out for metallics in colours like plum and blue for a fresh twist on this trend.
