Apparently oblivious to the winter chill, the 46 year old stepped out in a revealing mini-dress and fishnet tights at the weekend. She finished the look with a towering pair of platform heels.

Her black outfit seemingly held together with just a few safety pins must have raised eyebrows among passers-by as the singer enjoyed a night out in New York with her boyfriend, dancer Bryan Tanaka.

Miss Carey split from her billionaire fiance James Packer two months ago.
She began seeing 33 year old Mr Tanaka soon after, and the pair were spotted on a romantic break in Hawaii last month. Speaking to E! News about the blossoming relationship, he said: ‘I’ve always had a thing for Mariah. I love her so much.’
He added that the couple had strong chemistry from their first meeting, saying: ‘Something connected with us and there was just a mutual admiration.’

Miss Carey has been married twice, first to music executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998, then to rapper and actor Nick Cannon from 2008 until they split two years ago.
