The most important fashion and textile event in Colombia’s second largest city Medellin has been running this week.
The website Colombia Reports says that the 25th edition of the annual event was inaugurated by President Juan Manuel Santos.
The first designer to present a collection on Colombiamoda’s catwalk was Colombian Camilo Alvarez.
The most prominent event of Colombian textile and fashion association Inexmoda is expected to generate more than $250 million in business, said Inexmoda.
Some 1,780 buyers from 35 countries were expected to attend. The events ends on Thursday, Colombia Reports said. - IOL
