Los Angeles, California - David Beckham was seen with a heavily-bandaged arm as he carried daughter Harper following a dramatic motorcycle crash on Sun set Boulevard.

He slid his custom-made Super Vintage 93 Knucklehead on to its side when he braked suddenly to avoid a pedestrian on Thursday night, as he left the Shamrock Tattoo parlour. It is thought Beckham was being pursued by paparazzi.

A witness said: “He braked to avoid somebody in the road and the bike went over. A couple of the guys from the store helped him push the bike to the kerb and he drove off.”

“He didn’t appear to be hurt.”

However, Beckham’s right wrist was bandaged when he arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday night to fly home to London.

But he was still well enough to carry three-year-old Harper. Sons Romeo, 11, and Cruz, nine, were also travelling with him.

A spokesman for Beckham refused to comment on the injury but a source said: “Thankfully it’s not serious.”

Beckham, a keen motorcyclist, recently rode through the Amazon rainforest for a BBC documentary.
