Motr than 400 classic motorcycles will be on display at the 1000 Bike Show in Germiston this Saturday and Sunday.

The Classic Motorcycle Club’s annual expo of classic two wheelers continues to increase in popularity, and apart from the golden oldie bikes on display in the marquee, the large and eclectic collection of motorcycles parked on the football field brought in by show visitors always makes an interesting display of its own.

Apart from the motorcycle show there will be about 75 stalls selling food and motorcycle memorabilia, while the popular Band o’ Gipsies will be providing the live rock ‘n roll.

The show will be open from 8am-5pm each day and takes place at Germiston High School, situated on Rand Airport Road opposite Rand Airport. Entry fee is R50 per person per day and this includes a cloth commemorative badge. Children under 16 accompanied by an adult do not pay an entry fee.
