Cape Town – The Western Province Motor Club will be hosting a special combined advanced riding course and track day at Killarney on Women’s Day, Monday 10 August.

Special because entry for women riders will be free.

And special because there will be non-scary slower sessions for less experienced riders of either gender, with instructors standing by to offer advice on bike set-up, braking and cornering techniques and emergency avoidance.

There will also be track sessions for riders who want to ride their bikes the way they were designed to be ridden, without the risks of road hazards and speed traps.

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

The school sessions will be open to any rider on any bike that’ll pass the instructors’ safety inspection, and instructors will be available for one-on-one coaching where necessary.

The sessions will run from 9am to 2pm – although you’ll have to be there by 8am for safety inspection and briefing. The cost for men will be R450 each; refreshments will be on sale and there will be a lucky draw prize.

Contact Roxanne Livings at Mike Hopkins Motorcycles on 021 461 5167 to book.
