“We've had enough of bikers being slaughtered on the roads every day!”
That's the call from Cape Town's Renegades motorcycle club - to get together in clubs, social groups, family groups and ride for your lives on Sunday 2 September, on the first annual No Day to Die.
The club is calling on all riders countrywide to take to the roads between 10am and 12am on Sunday 2 September, in memory of those who have fallen, and do everything they can to be seen and heard.
(Of course they would never suggest anything illegal such as outrageously loud pipes!)

Western Cape riders will gather on the Grand Parade in Cape Town's CBD, which will be the start point for several mass rides over various different high-visibility routes, all leaving at 10am, while riders in other centres are urged to organise similar rides.
“For two hours we can flood the roads in our cities and suburbs with bikes of all sizes and shapes,” says convenor Vickey Cooper. “It’s time for us to be seen and heard!”
