Whitley, England - This is the first teaser picture that Land Rover has released of the Discovery Vision Concept, which design director Gerry McGovern says is just that - a vision of what future Discoverys and Range Rovers will look like.

The company will reveal its design vision for a new family of premium leisure SUVs at the 2014 New York International Auto Show, showcasing the essence of a future family of SUVs built on Land Rover’s key principles of capability and versatility, using new customer-focused advanced technologies.

Design director Gerry McGovern, commented: “The Discovery has been pivotal in helping to build the foundations of the Land Rover brand; it’s admired all over the world and loved by owners.

We have created the Vision Concept to take that heritage in a new, relevant design direction that we hope will resonate with customers of today and tomorrow.”
