If you're of the opinion that luxury travel and excessive g-force go hand in hand, look no further than Carlsson's version of the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The German tuner has created a package that will make even the new S 63 AMG look like it's made for driving Miss Daisy.

That 5.5-litre twin-turbo AMG V8 forms the basis of the most potent Carlsson S-Class, in which outputs are bumped up from 430kW/900Nm to 582kW and 1050Nm.

If that's just a tad too OTT for you, the tuner is also offering a version of the S500, which sees its 4.7-litre twin-turbo V8 modified to the tune of 455kW and 900Nm - up from the standard car's 335kW/700Nm.

To set the pimped limos apart and aid aerodynamics, the Carlsson styling kit includes a new front apron with larger air intakes, deeper side skirts and a bolder rear valance sporting a distinctive trapezoid cut-out on each side for the exhaust outlets.

Clients can choose between three alloy wheel designs, which range from 19-inches to 21-inches in diameter.

The tuner also promises that a C-tronic suspension lowering kit for vehicles with Airmatic and Magic Body Control will be available shortly.

Yet it's when customising the cabin that the full scope of Carlsson's offering comes into scope.

Various grades of fine leather and stitching techniques allow customers to personalise the interior style of their S-Class, while various high-end gadgets can also be specified, including HD TV screens, an audiophile grade Revox audio system and even a fridge or Humidor.

Fancy a set of Marino Sheepskin floor mats? You can have those too and it's quite a fitting option as the subtle exterior makeover ensures that this monster limo is something of a wolf in sheep's clothing.
