Stuttgart, Germany - If this teaser sketch is anything to go by, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet, due to debut at the Geneva motor show in a couple of weeks, is going to be a stunner.

The official release shows a sleek, classically flat-decked 2+2 'barchetta' (little boat) shape with what looks like a well for a folded soft top behind the rear seats, as in BMW's 4 Series convertible.

New Merc C-Class Coupe is a baby S

No details are available as yet, but we'd expect to see the same two-litre turbofours as in the recently-launched C-Class Coupé - the 135kW C200 and 180kW C300 in petrol, and the C220d (125kW) and C250d (150kW) turbodiesels.

And they should be followed in due course by at least one AMG variant, probably a C63 with 350kW. Yes, please.
