Irmscher has been associated with the betterment of Opels for decades now and the German tuner's latest creation is this kit for the all-new Opel Astra GTC that was unveiled recently.

On the performance front, Irmscher has transformed the GTC from a warm hatch to a true GTI rival, with the power outputs of its 1.6-litre turbopetrol engine having been tuned up from 132kW to 162kW and from 230Nm to 274Nm.

On the handling front, this GTC benefits from a sportier suspension system that's been lowered by 30mm.

The obligatory visual aggression is in place too, in the form of 21-inch wheels, a redesigned grille, front and rear spoilers, rear diffuser and a quad exhaust system. Not much has been done inside, besides alloy pedals and 'fine' leather trim.

The Irmscher GTC goes on sale alongside its standard GTC counterpart at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
