Suzuki has released these teaser images of no less than five concepts that will be on its stand at the 43rd Tokyo Motor Show, from 23 November to 1 December. The theme of the Suzuki stand at the 2013 show will be 'Brand New Story', and the concepts encompass cars that are currently in demand, cars that should be available in the near future, and cars for the more distant future - in other words, a brand new story for Suzuki and its customers.

CROSSHIKER

This compact crossover combines fresh styling with radical weight reduction and a highly efficient power train. Derived from the G70 concept shown at the 2011 Tokyo show, it has a new, one-litre three-cylinder engine and weighs only 810kg.

X-LANDER

This Jeep-style all-wheel-drive hybrid with its distinctive personality is intended to be used in the city as well as off-road. Based on the Jimny, it uses its proven 1.3-litre engine coupled to a new, automatically controlled manual transmission and a compact hybrid system with a highly-efficient motor built on to its all wheel-drive system.

HUSTLER

This crossover minicar is designed for customers with an active, outdoors-focused lifestyle, with plenty of SUV styling cues to make it look like it belongs in the wild.

HUSTLER COUPE

This two-door concept takes the Hustler mini-SUV a step further with a sexy tapered roofline and minimal glazed area.

iV4

This compact SUV with chunky styling is the direct descendant of the Jimny and Grand Vitara. Intended as a versatile 'freedom machine', with Suzuki's next-generation AllGrip all wheel-drive system, and the production version will be launched in Europe in 2015.
