Fancy yourself as a Formula One guru? Reckon you have a knack for predicting races?

Well, we at the Motoring section of Independent Newspapers are providing a platform for you to prove your passion and challenge you to an F1 fantasy league season.

Log onto http://fantasy.etana.co.za/f1fantasy, and register yourself as a user to get in on the action before the season starts in Melbourne, Australia this weekend.

Once affiliated with the site, enter the league code in the Join a League menu and you’re ready to compete against other readers as well as our team of journalists: Denis Droppa, Minesh Bhagaloo, Jesse Adams and Jason Woosey.

You’ll have to log on to the website before the qualifying session of each race and choose who you think will perform at each of the 2013 F1 calendar’s rounds, scoring points for correct predictions in the process.

After the season finale we’ll hand over a cool prize to our league’s top finisher.

That is, if Motoring’s crack team of F1 experts haven’t filled the top spots ...
