Doctors say they cannot predict the outcome for Michael Schumacher, who suffered a serious head injury in a ski accident on sunday morning.

Chief anesthesiologist Jean-Francois Payen told reporters on Monday that the seven-times Formula One world champion was still in a medically induced coma.

He said the medical team was not yet able to talk about outcomes; they were focusing only on his current condition.

Schumacher arrived at the Grenoble hospital on Sunday afternoon already in a coma and immediately underwent brain surgery.

Doctors say he remains in critical condition. - AP
