This is not some male wish list (as much as it may seem like one) nor is it a list of the cars most popular with male buyers.

Instead, the 10 cars you see here are the ones that enjoy the highest percentage of male ownership, in the USA at least, and according to research compiled by Polk.

The Ferrari 458 Italia tops the bill here with 95.3 percent of its owners being male. In second place is BMW's 1 Series M Coupe and, in fact, all of the top seven are performance machines with the Mercedes SLS AMG and Nissan GT-R also featuring.

This list would not seem plausible without a few bakkies (sorry, pick-ups) in the mix and here the American-only GMC Sierra and Ford F-Series take eighth and ninth spots.

Without further ado, these are the ten cars with the highest male ownership. Look below that and you’ll see we haven’t forgotten about the ladies either.
