A bevy of beauties will greet bidders at Aucor’s supercar auction at noon tomorrow.

“We have some amazing models on our auction floor this weekend, ranging from late model coupés and sedans to a 1955 Triumph TR2, a real classic in anyone’s books,” says Aucor MD Darren Winterstein.

“The Triumph was originally sent in kit form to South Africa in 1955 from the Canley factory in Coventry in the UK for assembly, and the car comes with the certificate of conformity from the British Motor Industry Trust. “It’s a stunner with black bodywork, ox-blood red leather upholstery and a wooden TR2 gear lever knob and steering wheel,” Winterstein adds.

Buyers looking for later model speedsters can choose from a BMW 650i Convertible Auto or a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe (both 2012) or 2011 Maserati Quattroporte GTC Sport. A 2011 BMW 730D, Audi A5 2.0T Sportspack or BMW M3 M DCT are also on the auction line-up, as is a 2009 Chrysler 300C 5.7 Hemi V8 Auto and two 2010 BMW 320i Autos.

There’s plenty on offer for buyers wanting more grunt for their buck: a Chrysler Grand Voyager 3.8 Limited, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 3.6L Auto, several Land Rover options including a Defender Puma 90 SW, Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 SE and Discovery 4 5.0 V8 HSE, Freelander TD4 HSE and Range Rover Sport 3.0D HSE.

For boating enthusiasts, a 15.6ft Superdolphin Dorada with 2x 40hp Yamaha Autolube motors is on offer.

The sale is at 562 Fifteenth Road, Randjespark, with viewing today from 8am to 4pm.
